| Nan Mahon |
Nan became interested in writing during the third grade, when she read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. According
to Nan, "My nose was always in a book and the public library was my retreat, my second home.
That’s why I do a lot of volunteer work for the public library today. I took journalism in high school and in college
as well as creative writing classes. The first story I ever sold was to a magazine. It was a profile of a young gymkhana champion.
I’m still doing profiles." Visit Nan Mahon's website at www.nanmahon.com. Nan is also a key board member and contributor to the Fine Arts Festival.

Brennan
Ever since I was young, writing was for fun. A hobby. Sure, I wanted
to write a book and be published, but I never finished anything so didn't feel the pressure to try and get published.
Shortly
after the birth of my third child, I tried to figure out a way to stay home with my kids. Since I loved to write stories,
I committed myself to finish one of the many books I'd started, then seek publication. I thought finishing the book would be the hard part, but I managed to finish five books in less
than two years. Learning the ins and outs of the publishing business is an on-going experience!
The two years between
my commitment to writing and selling my first book was a crucial learning experience. Visit Allison Brennan's website

Ginny Hansen, Author
Like so many cancer patients I really had to fight to live, I was one of the fortunate ones. Here I am, 5-1/2 years
later alive and well. The reason being is that I had an autologous stem cell transplant, which means I was able to use
my own stem cells to save my life. Something few people know is possible.
I was so grateful
that I decided to write a book and spread the word, let others know there is hope. Help others through crisis and encourage
continued research.
Stems of Life Picked from the Garden of Survival is now in its second edition. I received two awards for this book. A Golden Quill award was received in 2007 and an honorable mention for the "Best inspiration book in 2008."
Multiple five star reviews can be read on my website at www.stemsoflife.com

John R. Schembra
was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, and retired from the Pleasant Hill Police Department as a Sergeant
after 30 years of service. I have been married for 33 years and have two grown children. I earned a B.A. in Administration
of Justice, and an M.A. in Public Administration (Management).
I spend my retirement time writing (one of my favorite pastimes, along with fishing) as well as teaching
other police officers emergency vehicle operations/pursuit driving through the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department and
Academy.

Sandy Martin
introduced
her first book of poems, A License To Fly, in 1987-88. The Atlanta, Georgia native moved to Sacramento, California in 1982, and
shares her gifts in film festivals, stage productions and her One-Woman shows
Her
works vividly reflect her experiences, observations and imagination in every
area of life. Her rich cultural heritage as a Southern-Born Black Woman enables
her to bring works that challenge over-simplified thoughts about the human condition
as it relates to womanhood, motherhood, work, friendship,
spirituality, life, love and passion
She’s
been an audience favorite for over 25 years, and has performed in the U.S.
and abroad. Her works have appeared
in various publications for public and private organizations, businesses, churches, schools, and universities. Ms. Martin
is truly uninhibited in her methods of creative expression. She not only gives voice and meaning to her words - she clearly
translates them
Her works encourage others to seek, discover, develop and share their own talents and abilities. She brings refreshing
humor and lyrical sensuality. She shows dramatic introspection and uncanny spiritual depth. These qualities are among many that
compel readers and audiences who find her words so irresistible. With Uninhibited & Still Holding Back, Ms. Martin proves
that the power, passion, wisdom and candor presented in her first book were clearly no accident, but the result of amazing genius and rare sensibility.
